A woman’s intuition.
According to Google - Women are said to posses a superior intuition (women's intuition), an almost psychic — and somewhat frightening — knack for knowing what others are feeling and thinking. Experts say this intuition is based on an ability to read facial expressions and body language. A synonym for gut feeling is counterintuitive. Sometimes your intuition is so strong that you can physically feel the effects. ... "Many people describe their intuition as a feeling in their chest or stomach,” Schewitz says. “Often, it comes as a tightness in those areas and the feeling that something is off.”

Is it from my momma?

Is something really off?

Am I second guessing myself?

Is my mom keeping me up tonight?

Is it something shes trying to tell me?

Is she doing this because its her birthday?

Is it a warning?

It is a blessing?

Is this emotional ache because something is coming?

Is it intuition? Or a weird feeling in the back of your throat that you can't explain?

Is it intuition? Or is it the "thing" that wakes you up at the same time every night. 1:59 am?

Is it intuition, or that weird feeling of butterflies in your stomach?

Is it intuition, or just a big lump in the back of your throat?

Is it intuition or the answer to that prayer you’ve been praying that you're not ready to be a part of the answer to?

Is it intuition or fear?

Is it intuition or are you really crazy?

Is it intuition or just plain facts. (and receipts.)

Is it the feeling of abandonment?

Is it a vacancy?

It is the feeling of troubles seeming so far away, and then suddenly they're there.

Is it intuition? Or is it your guardian angels letting you know they’re still there?

Is it your intuition, or the realization that a certain human doesn’t deserve a place in your life?

Is it your intuition? Or your selfish way of thinking this blog is about you? (its about a collection of things and people, don't flatter yourself.)

Is it your intuition or the hedge of protection God promised to put around you?

Is it the urge to remove it from the holster, release the safety, and put one in the chamber?

Is it the curiosity of what your dog may be doing when they get too quiet?

Is it finding out one of your friends has Cancer, and the prognosis immediately catapults you into this trance you cant seem to get yourself out of. A trance that wakes you up at 1:59 AM?

It is realizing the best years of your life are still happening, and you need to do everything in your power to enjoy each day to the fullest.

It is realizing death will come?

Is it the knowing that one day you will cease to exist on this earth? Is it that you will be a distant memory one day?

Is it the general email, with subliminal messages sent to everyone, but you know its directed towards you? Or even know who the person the email was created for? lol.

That’s the hard part about the intuition. It’s a feeling that you can’t quite explain, and you’re not really sure where it comes from, or what aspect of you life it can be applied to, but it will Ride your mutha-fu(k!ng-ass like the Ghat Damn camp town races. lmmfao.

Similar to a virus. It will invade, multiply, change, and potentially lie dormant within you.

Intuition can take on the personality of a bruise. You realize you have it, you think back to when you first may have gotten it, you wonder what you did to get it, and then it slowly goes away or keeps appearing, which makes you pay more attention to exactly what you’re doing to get it.

As a woman, we’ve been known to fantasize about these things or even obsess about the feelings that we have. (often labeled as insecure, worrisome, annoying, and even "crazy")

We second-guess these feelings because we want to believe that it’s just an off day / or weird moment.

We obsess over these feelings because we think we are trippin' (yeah that's the word I chose to use with my intelligent two college degree having a$$)

Your intuition will have you laying in bed staring at the "choose happiness" sign posted to your bedroom wall in the nook of your raised ceiling. Knowing you love your sleep.

I remember hearing stories about how people have said that spirits ride them. You know how it is when people move into a house and they say they feel a presence or that something is there? (yeah I've never experienced that but I do find it interesting.)

There have been sometimes in the stories where they felt something was there, but didn’t feel threatened.

There have been other times in these stories where they feel the feeling, and they’re immediately frightened or unsure about the feeling. It brings a huge sense of discomfort.

Its that feeling that you know they don’t want to cause you harm, but also the feeling that you don’t want them there.

Your intuition may sometimes give you the ability to do something you’ve been wanting to do for a long time.

Your intuition may also cause you to stick around a little bit longer out of curiosity. No real desired outcome. Just curiosity.

Your intuition can cause the hairs on the back of neck to stand, the pores on your skin to tighten and raise sending a chill over your entire body. Even causing your heart to race, your palms to sweat and encourage deeply meditative thinking.

It can come to you in the feeling of "I shouldn’t go this way today" and then you hear later on that it was an accident in that very direction that you wanted to go.

Your intuition can let you know that something is brewing. It may not be there to harm you but you know something is going on.

Your intuition causes you to put your guard up. Your intuition causes you to protect yourself and be more aware of the things that are going on around you.

Does your intuition involve your religion at all? Or is this just an amazing chemical imbalance that comes along when your body senses discord.

Intuition, A Woman's Intuition

It can be fleeting.

It can be constant.

I can come in the form of an answered prayer.

It can be sickening.

It could be an awakening.

It can align your chakras.

It can be enlightening.

It can be detrimental.

It can be staggered breathing.

It could be tingling in your toes.

It could be the Holy Spirit.

It could be the devil.

It can dry your mouth out.

Then immediately fill it with Your own natural wetness.

It could be the hearing of your own pulse beating against your pillow.

It could be the sound of silence you hear when all is still.

It can cause flutters in your heart.

It can cause you to be still, listen, and know that HE is there.

It can come in the form of a woman’s “courses.”

It can be an incredibly welcomed sense of acceptance & peace.

It can come in the form of that awkward silence.

It could be the realization that it’s not you.

It could be undeserved treatment from a loved one

It could be the random act of kindness from a stranger.

It could be your proudest moment.

It could be the lowest of the low.

It could be the light from a burning bridge. (with a fire you set)

It could be the acknowledgment that if you let them, people will use you.

It could be the reason you decide to leave.

It could be the reason you decide to stay.

It can be the reason you stop playing the victim, and take control of the things that someone may be doing to you.

It could be the reason you decide to take a stand.

It could be the reason you realize you’re not responsible for the actions of people around you, but you ARE responsible for yourself.

It could be the reason you decide to finally walk away from that abusive relationship.

It could be the reason you’re honest with others so that you can protect them from going down a path you went on sometime ago.

It could be the silence from a friend which lets you know they’re doing all right.

It can be the growing baby in a friends belly that was the start of an answered prayer.

It could be the decision to let go.

It could be the closure you need.

It could be the rescue you know you’ve been needing.

It could be the end of an era.

It could be the beginning of something new.

I’m not really sure exactly what it is. Do you?
